Since it is now so, Schiller's new plant - Symphonia. The first thing that really strikes directly, is the packshot - which I find really successful. Something that you like is the shelf itself. The second view is true then the track list - here you will find a Schiller fan no surprises, everything familiar - albeit partly large title of Schiller.
The surprise follows then but now listening to the title. According to the latest albums by Christopher von Deylen I was a little skeptical because I count myself one of those people that the "former" Schiller rather liked than the last trips in the classical field. In the skepticism but mingled a certain anticipation, the left completely cold not I was also the last album Opus - it is this typical sound that Christopher von Deylen always sent apply white and you just found only in Schiller, of each album, makes every song unique. And the anticipation has paid off - absolutely paid off - because from the first second of Symphonia I was trapped again in the Schiller-typical sound worlds, soundscapes and arrangements.
The tracks on the track list are likely familiar to most listeners Schiller. For Symphonia they were re-arranged - on the one hand there are familiar synth sounds and drums - on the other side stands but this time the large orchestra. A very interesting combination that actually works. The subjects are usually borne by the original instruments and support to the appropriate locations by the orchestra, giving the whole sound incredible momentum - Schiller: Live, for example, such a title. Some tracks were completely new - and exclusively for the orchestra - arranged. Longing: Reprise - Live may be mentioned at this point. This is strongly towards film music, which I personally like. The live acts (inter alia by Midge Ure and Eva Mali) are well integrated into the overall picture.
Symphonia offers plenty of familiar and even more new. Schiller fans of the first hour, which also rather like the original Schiller-sound show, the album might not be unconditionally happy (even through hearing I would still recommend), for all other Schiller listener, I can recommend this album fully. It offers a lot of old big title of Schiller that has yet not heard so. The integration with the large orchestra fits just great, the sound is great. While listening you can feel the typical Schiller feeling. After me Opus convinced only after the 2nd or 3rd start, I'm excited now groundless of Symphonia again. Thank you for this, which I can conclusively assessed only with 5 stars.
