Maybe I should start with the positive. I found the idea of values author actually quite good. What, however haperte, was the implementation. It may only go as me, but I found the book boring. It dragged itself along, that I was tempted to end forward a screen only to finally get some voltage. For the end was really entertaining. Merit goes to multiple tracks, you end up, however, lead to much surprise the culprits, the actually quite early on it is clear to the reader. The various species which they have met on their way a bit unoriginal and were designed more typical in the field of fantasy creatures.
Then the emotional part of the story.
I'm not a fan of drastic steps, which in the last book was really the case. Ethan's death was inappropriate me and unnecessary. To provide Merit in this book but just after a short period of mourning again a potential buyer to the side is just as impossible and one thing that is nothing new for the Morgan incident. Anyone who likes such triangle Love relationships will not be disappointed here. I think it's unnecessary and totally out of place. That the author is their characters but not otherwise developed a disgrace. For the story, everything to itself, has so much potential that I can not understand it, after which the series boils down - at least for now. Even if this should not be a YA series, one can not get past it, to think that the author is drifting more and more towards this (because of the sometimes underdeveloped maturity of the characters).
The end I felt as a relief. But this only because I was so frustrated by the author after the last book. It was a little corny and cheesy. However, it was also necessary to continue to bind me as a reader of the series. Without this it would have been the end of my last book.

It may all sound a little harsh. But it's not as if I had liked to write. I'd rather read a book that is exciting, the (mainly but Merit) not unimaginative and immature represents his characters and, above all, that manages to bind the reader to the series, because it is good and not because it cherished Supporting Actor as abused (you will be on noisy!).
I hope that the next book Biting Cold: A Chicagoland Vampires Novel is better. I really hope that Ms. Neill, who is talented no doubt, what you can see from the previous books, the next time has more to offer than the development in this book. Remains to be seen. I'm curious.
