Below I'm going to my pros and cons enumerate:
Per
+ Very nice new neighborhood
+ Beautiful new furniture, hairstyles and clothes if a little bit (but one is used)
+ Go diving is really fun
+ Houseboats great innovation
+ Meerjunfrauen
+ Undiscovered lonely islands
+ New Job: Lifeguard
Cons
- Bug. BUGS. Everywhere! Sims players are anyway used to a lot of bugs and as you would expect are not fixed and programmed into new. I can not check into a resort for example mostly. Often my Sim will teleport while diving for residential land. That's all very very ugly.
- Lags. Very Massive lag. I have a very good PC, the good also came clearly pronounced with Sims before. But how worried EA built in the new neighborhood crap. Great crap. Apparently it's a couple of players and EA so obviously ignored the complaints. Other neighborhoods run still liquid, so just on the new. But this is ...
- That many of the features only in the new neighborhood are possible. So there is no way in another neighborhood to create hidden islands or Houseboats (sea should not be deep enough, according to EA in other neighborhoods)
- Unclean and stiff, or missing animations. Sims teleport in and out of boats, not a real catch of fish underwater and the lifeguard profession just looks effortlessly executed claps, as there is for example for entering the water no new animations.
Conclusion: In itself, it is a nice addon with creative innovations. In itself, however, each should think whether it is worth the full price these things. Not me! Buy recommendation: Yes, but not at full price. Also you should probably wait until a patch of those annoying bugs fixes, although you can probably wait forever ...
