Reasons to buy were the compact size for mounting behind the flat screen televisions and the operation via a supplied infrared sensor with cable and plug. The setup was fairly easy to deal with. The MegaSat client works with the Inverto IDL 400S used by me (Airscreen Server or multibox) SAT to IP server problems together. Thus the device serves its purpose, but it serves only the duty, not the freestyle. The image quality is unfortunately only satisfactory. Overall, the SAT> IP Client in my opinion has a bad price / performance ratio. Under Smart TV functions you would expect nowadays more than a poorly functioning YouTube app and two other Apps with little practical use. The box, with its outdated Android v2.2 as from a bygone era and acts quite carelessly and simply, yes programmed unprofessional.
I now use a Inverto IDL 6654N Volksbox Web Edition + as SAT> IP Client. The Inverto Volksbox has cost 136 EUR and includes an HD + card with 12 months validity worth 50 EUR. The Inverto Volksbox has a professional graphical interface, fast program switching, a real stunning good picture quality and really comprehensive Smart TV features that are fun. Ensure that the MegaSat client has no HD + card included and software and other function can convince hardly the device with just under 100 EUR is too expensive and not worth the money in any case. The Inverto Volksbox looks much more mature, definitely makes a lot more fun and includes a complete HD + variety for a whole year as a free bonus.
