For me, the watch overestimates the number of laps that I made in the order of 25%. So my 1000m swimming sessions appear on the show as of 1200 to 1300m. The main purpose of the watch is to measure the towers, which he fails to do so. This explains the low score. However, some people believe that the problem with the counting speed can be improved by using a technique of mechanical swimming. It would have been better if Garmin would have an option to fix the number of laps. There are also good points. The watch design is very attractive. The counts are easily visible in the water. The fact that it always shows the number of meters you've swam the current week is great for motivation. Although it's annoying to see that it completely fails to fulfill its main objective (which is to count laps correctly so you do not have to) I have not returned the watch, because I have not found better options there.
