As a big puzzle fan she was very excited about the idea to test this puzzle with me and was also the age of twelve at all overwhelmed with the assembly of the individual parts. I, however, am a little out of practice and have lost almost their patience with some details. Especially with the two round towers long I did very hard for me.
Overall, this 3D puzzle in combination with an audio book, relaxing music or a chat in good company is a very nice pastime for stormy autumn days.
On the quality there is nothing to complain about, something else I did not expect from the prestigious Ravensburger ...
The 3D puzzle differs from classic puzzle pieces by the numbering on the back, without these you would probably despair build. I myself have seen only numbers after this afternoon with puzzles in actually sense that has to do for me rather less, rather with modeling, but my niece held as Sissi fan through with great enthusiasm and without a break.
The construction of the castle is accompanied by a small booklet that explains in detail all the steps.
All parts are made of sturdy plastic, but I would not dare, once again to take the finished work apart. The puzzle pieces are a good size, I had imagined these parts much smaller and had therefore advance a little afraid of the assembly. As it turned out completely wrong!
A base plate making the finished fairytale castle transportable.
But me personally bothers the flat base of the castle, since I have the real Neuschwanstein Castle in terms of the proportions and appearance, completely different in mind. Thus, the construction seems somehow boxy and plump. In the product description also of note is: "Building not original / true to detail". True Neuschwanstein fans could therefore be a bit disappointed when they look at the result of their effort.
Real King Ludwig and Sissi fans I would therefore the Innovative 3D puzzles of UMBUM - recommend Neuschwanstein. This 3D puzzle is indeed made of cardboard, but beautifully decorated and with great attention to original detail.
