The fact that everyone here about Havers upset, is perfectly understandable. However, their behavior also does not surprise me - after all, it is about people who are close to her. Nevertheless, one is annoyed permanently about her hysterical, sometimes very stupid behavior. But even more exhausting, I found the conversation in Italian. If I buy an English book, I have no desire, then mess around me even with the Italian language and to think about what was just said now. I thought that was very annoying and it has significantly slowed the reading pleasure (even if George is trying to paraphrase most) definitely. Otherwise the book is exciting. I can not say that it wears off on the last 200 pages, too.
All in all, the book in order. But I would be glad if Elizabeth George soon finally taking a lesson from the previous cases and not constantly focuses attention on the personal dramas and problems of the investigators.
