These installation tips should help

Have just installed this TV bracket. As have noted Vorrezensenten, the installation instructions are only of limited help. Therefore I will give a few tips for installing the bracket.

After unpacking me is first of all noticed rather unpleasant that the mobile itself supporting members were very difficult to move. Therefore, I have the self-locking nuts just about loosened a half-turn, so this problem was also solved again - oiling was not necessary.

For assembly, it is my opinion recommended (at least, if you only have two hands), that the wall rail solved by two long screws removed from the rest of the bracket. In this way, on the one hand the exact mark the drill holes and the other hand the subsequent screwing of the wall rail falls easily. And that this is done exactly is important, as there is no demand or Feinadustierungsmöglichkeit in the bracket are in slate assembly.

Mounting hardware, such as plugs and screws (for masonry), washers, spacers, and various metal screws strengths for different TV models are included. The enclosed 12 mm plugs seemed to me for the intended 8 mm screws not optimal - this combination would probably even met his goal. I felt with the use of my own 10 mm dowels comfortable - and kept the screws really as hoped at attention in the masonry.

The metal screws to secure my 40-inch monitor from Samsung, however, were noticeably long. I on Saturday night not to saw off the screws still in a DIY trip felt like I just settled three additional shims at each coil - so I could fix the two bars for hanging the TV on the wall bracket to the TV stable.

Now, however, I still had the previously unscrewed part of the wall mount back together with the now mounted on the wall rail, which was also a little gimmick. The hanging of the TV and the fixing in the holder was now but easy. Although the vertical adjustment of the TV without tools via wingnuts possible, but the accessibility of this is unfortunately a little cramped - so should not be necessary on a regular basis.

One tip on the edge. Who his television, like me, to be mounted within 1.5 m height, power and antenna cable should provide a sufficient length, also in the tilted state. ;-)
