The oil smells just fine. I been using it for 2-3 weeks at the tail root against chafing. So far I have success, but the ceiling is only season. I first wash the tail, let it dry briefly and then oils. Whether the hair "faster" grow, I can not judge - but it takes a long time, but as long as he does not chafe, it serves its purpose.
