After much research and some touch with a couple of mouse pads ultimately remained the Roccat siru, the Roccat Hiro and the SteelSeries 9HD in the final selection. The 9HD is already getting a bit old, but still a good mouse pad only, there has been not much experience concerning the compatibility with my mouse. The duel between the Roccat Hiro and Roccat Siru has then made the Siru due to the quite clear price difference and the thickness of the race.
Packing:
The Siru is packaged in a visually quite appealing packaging, everything about the pad is on it.
Installation / Assembly:
The pad has a self-adhesive base, this is covered with a foil and musss be deducted. The mouse pad then adheres very well. I tested the adhesion to real wood, chipboard funierten, glass and just cause I wanted to know on a stone slab (Who has stone slabs as a PC-table?). The mouse pad can be removed easily removed from the surfaces and damage them not in spite of the good adhesion. One can even use at IKEA tables without the funierung comes along when removed. The adhesiveness to be now more than two dozen times now and not stick to. Good also that the pad is not "sticky" is when it has in hand.
Operational:
The mouse pad keeps its promises. My mouse is definitely more precise than on my old mouse pad (plastic pad). The friction is better than before the mouse seems to float over the pad, without which control is difficult, which at least my taste fully meets. The height of the pads of 0,45mm I only imagined problematic, but I must now say that no great difference to other plastic pads with thicknesses from 1mm-2mm noted. For my case, I would say I feel it even as pleasant. The material is easy to clean (plastic pad stop) and has a very pleasant surface, it does not scratch, it does not chafe, yet you can feel a beautiful structure. From a processing perspective, total wertig, there are no sharp edges or Kunststoffgrate. In terms of size 34cm x 25cm the mouse pad for low-sense is entirely suitable. Furthermore, the pad from sliding even with many quick movements all any. The look like beautiful plain with the typical Roccat logo. By the thickness of 0.45mm, the volume of the felt NEN small tick is louder than my previous, and this at a high level, however, complain about would be. The pad smells neutral and exhales no smell of chemical softeners or anything else out, so it's the all-round feeling here really very good.
We tested the pad with the following mice:
Roccat Kone Pure - flawlessly
MX518 - flawlessly
SteelSeries Sensei - Impeccable
Razer Naga - flawlessly
Conclusion:
For a price of approximately EUR 15.00 you get here a really good mouse pad with gaming quality and size. Comparable pads like the Roccat Hiro, SteelSeries 9HD etc. cost no less than EUR 35.00. Here NoName and Sharkoon pads are pre-let times the outside because the smell often extreme after chemical softeners. From me therefore strong buy recommendation for the Siru.
