The decision was made on the Sigma Sport Running Computer RC 1209 that came with chest belt.
Once I flew quickly over the instructions in which I mainly interested in the calibration, I took the time to test the clock.
The clock has 2 modes, including the training mode and the clock mode.
In Clock mode Date and time are displayed. With the "key light" can illuminate the display for few seconds. In this mode, the clock runs in economy mode, as no signal is received from the pulse belt, and no data has to be converted.
Then you start the training mode press and hold a button. If you have created the pectoral girdle in advance, it does not take 30 seconds to the heart rate, and will be displayed when moving a pace.
For calibration, I have previously measured a distance of one kilometer with the GPS. This one must then again slowly, and then run again quickly. Thus, the clock is tuned to a person.
While running the current heart rate, the current tempo or the route as well as a 3rd freely selectable information are always displayed (almost every information of heart rate, pace, time and distance).
The display is easy to read and you can during the run without problems between the data change.
What particularly pleased me: as soon as the tempo (ie after a maximum of 30 seconds) is displayed, it does not matter where you walk, whether through dense forest, deep gorges or through a tunnel: the clock is one good boy steps and converts them into the spilled Distance to. At 8 kilometers way past the clock showed 7.97 at ... which corresponds to an error of 30 meters at 8km. (Absolute aktzeptabel for me). But it did sometimes ago that they at a distance of 12km an error of 300 m indicated (which is probably due to the fact that I had to stop short because of traffic ... I'm assuming). As the clock just always saves a workout, it is also suitable for interval training. Time and route will be stopped by pressing the Start / Stop button and at repeated pressing is nothing restart but continues to be counted again.
After training, you can look at all the information at rest and write (training diary). If the clock is in training mode and 5minutes nothing happens it automatically switches back to the clock mode to save power.
Before your next workout you have to undo the last training (because otherwise the clock again from there is one), this one does not, within few seconds, and you can get started again.
Over the past 5 months, I was not the case but the clock and the chest belt are built that rankommt without problems to the battery
In addition, you can specify in the settings a desired high-frequency range, or you can enter the desired exercise hardness an whereupon the clock calculates the Hf area, and then displays during training to see whether they were in the desired range or not. Maybe worth mentioning: the clock is calculated on the basis of Hf and the information stored in the settings on weight, size and age of the consumed calories of the training session.
Conclusion: beginners to professionals will be satisfied with this clock. Of course it would be nice if the clock could store each training session and transferred to the computer, but we're talking about a clock the 70 inc. Pectoral girdle costs. After calibration it is a reasonably accurate track of (for those who want it exactly provides the clock even a setting with which you can reduce the error yet) and all the information you need to run. And all this in a beautiful appearance and at low battery consumption (compared to other watches).
I'm really very satisfied and would buy me immediately the same clock.
