The best and koheränteste PSB album for many years and although this time the dance club is swung not seen for "Relentless" from 1993. Unlike that time (was only the addition to "Very" in principle) is in "Electric" to a full-fledged studio album of pop legends. And that it has properly contained. Not one quiet song, no ballad, but only the finest electronic dance music. Part retro, part very modern, throughout all of a piece. Stuart Price, Neil and Chris have produced a great job here. It's hard to emphasize highlights because every track is special, but if I had to try it, I would say that the best title "Love is a bourgeois construct", "Fluorescent", "Thursday" (with British musician and rapper " Example ") and" Vocal "are. Do not be put off that it is "only" 9 tracks are on the album. Playing time is still 50 minutes. So it is no truncated mini-album or something. I would recommend this album not even recommend only the PSB fans (who buy the record anyway), but also people who might normally can begin not so much with the Pet Shop Boys, who are but well-crafted dance music. These people are likely to come "Shouting in the evening" their money on tracks like "Axis", "Inside a dream" or even in the hard techno number. I personally like the quieter side of the PSB as last on "Elysium", but in this case one can not help but the album simply turn up loud, to dance and to grin broadly. Welcome back on the dance floor, Boys!
