Let's be honest: Robert Brassillach is undoubtedly a great man of letters, but he is not a poet. However, he chose to improvise poet to witness the last moments of existence, then incarcerated in Fresnes prison, waiting to be executed. This is probably what makes the interest of this collection, which allows us to follow this man of letters with an extraordinary destiny and his resentment until the last moment. "Worth a look" will be my final summary on the Poems of Fresnes.
