Certainly, nowadays, when you see that it is 2d, one begins to wonder how old the game. That said, the scenery is sublime, especially worked ... And this music! Certainly, those fights are repeated but sometimes one of them overwhelms you ... And so, maybe will you like me to suicide, chasing the dragon, just to enjoy the enthusiasm provoked by background music! (Recall that in a Jdr as in Baldur, fight a dragon, it is a real tour de force ... and a lich, it is not much better)
Finally, Baldur's Gate is a game with so many side quests breakouts (Especially in Shadows of Amn!) That even Neverwinter Nights 2 can come to stay in his shadow.
Baldur's Gate, is the jewel of Black Isle ... The only way to tie this game, it would be putting it back in 3D with the same scenario, as many quests as much playability (up to 6 characters to manage fashion with a "pause" to organize a strategy against monsters that always reserve you a surprise ... Except maybe the goblins)
In other words, I doubt that Black Isle succeed to match this time. Unless the artists of his sets are able to repeat the feat in 3D ... That would be the most terrifying beauty sets for your graphics card a good Final Fantasy I guess.
