Received the day after the order. The amazon package was a little too big, builder package was walking a bit. After unpacking, I did not notice anything, it is only by making the waffles that I initially noticed when the device had trip the electrical panel, and found by rotating around the axis as shown in the instructions I saw that the plastic of the shaft was broken and we saw the son! That explains it. I called Amazon immediately. I was asked to return the product and redirects me another. Congratulations Amazon. My only fear: probably abused in transit, there is a demonstration of weakness of plastic, since the device was packed but arrived broken. I just hope it is an unfortunate coincidence. The waffles were perfect. Product focuses on cooking. It remains to see the strength with use. I will recommend therefore, with the reservation expressed on the strength. The plates are very good and the ejection system well thought out. Too bad to begin with this experience, caught by the Amazon business sense. Thank you to the friendly adviser, precise and aware of customer satisfaction. The second device provided by Amazon showed the same defect: BROKEN THE AXE. A call for service Lagrange to see if it was a known defect made them deny this fault, blaming storage where transport. I was not used up all the comments on the product, but it is clear that this is a recurring defect. This is unfortunate because the device ordered replacement (Cuisinart GR 10 E) is not as good waffles (they are above flood and no warning)
