The Ultimate One can (as opposed to the old Harmony One) now only create one favorite set and allocate this just a single action. This is anything but practical. If I z. B. an action and an action TV television with hi-fi system, the favorite set is only one of these actions. In one of the action you can then change channels only manually by number entry. Just a universal remote control many devices is still intended to control in different variants.
Using the Harmony One or the Harmony 900 you could assign different favorite sets different actions. Families, which could set up earlier special favorites-sets for children's channels, now out in the cold. Why Logitech has this changed at the Ultimate?
The wiper technology is a nice gadget that helps in many channels, but the functionality of the software is compared to the Harmony One or Harmony 900 is a clear step backwards. For the price you should at least have expected the functionality of the predecessor.
Also I miss some hardware keys of the predecessor models. It's easier to press a button when only switch to the Commands menu and then press the function. Also used as key information and Guide have not been set very low ergonomically often.
The Ultimate One works otherwise as their predecessors properly. For no longer practical software, there are only three stars. Perhaps Logitech pity to change that with an appropriate firmware update, many users would be happy about it.
