Very good shoes.
I had version 1 of Split Rock used on construction sites, in the snow, surrounded by nature, so I can compare: excellent quality, and comfort to the feet. By cons, some details with less impact but still noteworthy: the plastic parts where the brand is printed seem fragile and surely the 1st wear elements. The lassage system (perhaps because it is nine) to tighten the proximity switch is less convenient than the Split Rock 1 and the fleece side (slipper type) from the inside on the 1st gen has been replaced by a canvas appearance mesh fabric, but equally padded.
The result is still largely up my espérences on shoes that are primarily strong, durable and comfortable.
