As a small birthday gift the old rockers now published a new best-of compilation. Although a best-of will with only a disc of a band with all 18 albums (if you both as Hardrain added counts) does not really do it justice, but as lateral entry or completion to the 2002 release Long Days, Black Nights does Evolution all. MAGNUM offer here the best of the last decade. From the new album there's The Visitation and The Wild Angels hear from Moonking album the loose Melodicrockers All My Bridges and the guitar-driven Blood On Your Barbed Wire Thorns and the 2007 release Princess Alice And The Broken Arrow the long and beautiful When We Were Younger and Out Of The Shadows. MAGNUM have certainly evolved over the past two decades. Just after the Reunion is a change have to remember, but a song of the band is known even today both on guitars and the unique melodies and of course the voice of Bob. Another reason that everything here works as a unified whole, is the fact that much has been mixed here again. And also the two previously unreleased songs The Fall and Do You Know Who You Are? add a nice.
Who does not know this MAGNUM can now do with evolution, or equal access to recent works. Of course, had fallen even to the classics or mentioned compilation, because who is on melodic rock, which can not go wrong here definitely.
