If one allows himself an objective for 7oo for his camera, the well 40 for a decent UV-filters should be left. The purchase of this filter from B + W has paid off. He is an excellent workmanship and does the job excellently. There are certainly a lot cheaper UV filter, but that I have not been so impressive. For my expensive lenses the best is just good enough. A good UV filter is in my plan different lenses in front of the first outdoor use to protect the front lens of Ojekitvs without the image quality to deteriorate (The contrast is even slightly improved). High quality lens = quality UV filter; Quality has its price maintenance. This product of the traditional manufacturer B + W I can recommend without restriction in any case.
