Is there a difference when it comes to picture and sound quality between a cheap and an expensive HDMI cable? - NO! HDMI is HDMI.
All HDMI cables, the TMDS technology (Transition Minimized Differential Signaling) is used. There are two versions of the transmitted data stream over different wires. Thus, transmission errors and faults can be avoided. You will not notice any difference in picture and sound quality between a cheap and an expensive cable. Even professional laboratory tests showed that there is no difference.
However, there are different classes HDMI and some feature an Ethernet channel.
This 5 meter HDMI cable meets the highest HDMI class and has an Ethernet channel.
Advantage:
- High-quality workmanship
- Thick and crush resistant cable conduit
- Highest class HDMI (version 1.4a)
- Ethernet channel
- 10 year warranty
- Very reasonable price
Disadvantages
- No
I use this cable since December 2012, and had until now no problems. From me, there are very clear 5 of 5 Stars!
