Better than the first volume !! , I preferred this one because the character Elliana in the first volume is too "timid" and docile for my taste and it accepts too easily the situation. Claire is voluntary and knows is necessary, it does not abandon his life to blindly follow Hellus as Elliana done. The evolution of the couple Hellus and Claire is more interesting to discover. Writing is still fluid. The author (who is more French) delicately combines action and love story in perfect tempo, without downtime. A series to follow
