A Swedish poet, very focused on himself, will find itself suddenly confronted with what is a part of the reality of his country, the illegal immigrants who are trying to survive. First there will see the opportunity to appropriate the life stories of three women to fluctuating identities before getting involved conscientiously. Alternating narratives at once harsh and poetic underground with economic-trouble literary poet bundled up in his ego, Tea-bag is a turn by turn novel with squeaky funny and colorful characters (like the mother of the narrator) a novel in which women are resourceful and manage to reinvent their lives and to preserve their dignity. A lot of emotion and no otherworldliness.
