However, everything is just as long as positive, how the equipment works. As soon as one is then dependent on support, you can forget the thing real. I've been twice just buy a new device, because the support is not hinkriegt.

One caveat: TomTom has called Refurbished devices (used, reconditioned). These have quite reasonable prices. But they have cards that are over a year old and there is no free upgrade service. If you buy the map update, it costs almost as much as a new device from Amazon. The Live Services are, but it has two weeks writing took me to the service until they have released me.
I wish I could recommend another manufacturer, but I do not want to miss the LIVE services.
