Actually, the night light the renowned company Brennenstuhl does exactly what I had imagined. Not 100%, but almost. The motion detector turns the unit on when you enter a room. The color of the LEDs is pure white, so pretty cold, but bright enough for a night light. Leaving the room, the device switches the light off again after about 60 seconds. So far so good. Why then this bad review? As another reviewer wrote, the device gets confused very quickly, if you in the meantime time switches on a different light source. Either no longer late or turns it off then. Or is it no longer the next time you enter the room. The whole rather arbitrary, sometimes it works, sometimes then only helps it to pull out the plug and re-insert. Here we are at the connectors, this has zero leadership in a standard electrical outlet and the device fluttered pretty loose in the socket around. Let us now but the KO criteria. The device consumes 2 watts. Always. No matter whether the light on or off. Thus, the electronics of the twilight sensor and the motion sensor consumed as much as the LEDs. Nice. Why do we need the electronics "as much" energy. I know that want to have it nice and warm. I mean, the machine heats up unnaturally on. So, due to the time consumption, heat generation and the cold light color went back the part.
A note still on the operating instructions: This is really bad. Not that you would need to operate the equipment a. However, I wanted to know the width of the device before buying. If you still in the operating instructions under the item can see "Specifications", sadly wrong. The rest of the manual is pretty bad from a professional perspective. That's what I told the customer feedback from the company as a constructive criticism in an e-mail. In a reply I wait in vain so far, shame really, have so far made fairly good experiences with Brennenstuhl products.
