In my bracelet (Casio LCW-M100DSE-2AER) after squeezing the pins the fixture were out in the hinges,
the pins slip out again after a short time. I used the smallest expeller, I do not know whether
I have done something wrong - can not imagine what that procedure is actually quite simple to me at least.
I now suspect that the expeller but was too thick and has caused damage inside the hinges.
Or the bracelet, however, a production error, I can hardly imagine.
This I can now blame the expeller bad, but you should nevertheless warned if one uses for this tool.
If in doubt, simply the expert / the expert questions or equal to / let her do it.
Since I will probably not change the bracelet now, we have the hinges simply sealed with industrial adhesives,
maintains and works just as well.
Besides that:
The value for money is OK.
The expeller are stable enough to handle a few bracelets, but you should not expect miracles at a price of 2.
For home use useful (apart from above problem), if one considers should be operated as an amateur watchmaker you
rather invest in higher-quality alternatives.
The functionality of the design results in a layman like me may not be immediate, but actually it's quite simple:
So tighten the strap in the block that it sits securely and be expelled pen over an opening in the bottom of the log
hangs. Then rausdrücken with the expeller from above, with a small hammer is the thing a lot of elegant hand.
Without hammer you have quite a lot of power to spend and the metal bends at this maybe a little bit,
but he also holds so if you approach with a little patience on the matter.
Finally, to assess:
the product is useful, but certainly no tears from the stool. Buy again I would not likely
because with the whole with some skill just as well be possible with home remedies (toothpick, pin). Therefore smooth 3 stars.
