This application is perfect for streaming movies, TV shows, ... It works in client-server mode. The application in question is the client part. For the server part, you can download on the website of Plex and install it on a PC or Mac (or NAS like Synology, I only recommend if customers have the capacity of decoding 720p or 1080p for the NAS will be too light in terms of CPU for decoding on the fly). In my case, with a particular customer Ipad 2, I positioned the server part on a Mac Mini Core 2 Duo, so no problem.
The advantage of this application also is to tag the movies / series automatically read / unread or current, which greatly facilitates resume play when changing tablet, PC, ...
