Condition:
The seeds were supplied mold-free, so far found no shells / wood / foreign products, and smell / taste - as they should - neutral.
Use:
I sprinkle pure (1TL-1EL) on fruit salad, pudding, salads.
... Ground and also very (grain free) bread as binder (as I am still a little experimenting on)
... Completely soaked in almond milk as pudding (delicious with pistachios and a drizzle of maple syrup)
... As egg replacer while baking can be a "ChiaEi" make (the recipes speak of 1EL Chia very + 3EL water or 1 tablespoon milled Chia + 3EL water; I have developed no preference)
... Whole or ground in smoothies / shakes in order to thicken slightly
- The thickening of sauces I have not tried it yet with Chia.
Conclusion:
- A kilo will last forever in my flat, because the values roommate eats / is not keen to experiment: D
- In addition to increased Ballaststoffzufur (hydration accordingly please also increase) I am particularly pleased the high omega-3 content
