I run the boxes together with the Marantz M-CR610, for my taste a perfect combination. Use the installation for musical sprinkling a small office (about 11m²). The boxes stand on a shelf above the desk, slightly above ear level with 60cm distance from the ears. Despite line-up on the wall with a slight inward rotation they create a very airy sound, which does not stick, regardless of the volume of the speakers.
So I understand some criticism here, where these little parts a reference tone is expected. Myself large Canton boxes that naturally produce another sound dimension with a tenfold price. With the small size of the GLE 420 there is nothing for me to complain, not even at processing and optics.
The acoustic disadvantages in the near sitting position and wall installation can be compensated by a normal, well-functioning bass / treble tone controls on the amplifier. For these disadvantages but can not these little boxes.
