I had sold my DSLR equipment half a year ago, because I was too cumbersome my Pentax K100DS + together Objektivzoo and backpack too heavy and the handling - just no one younger. And although our holiday digicam Ricoh C5 know God is not a bad compact camera, I lacked something.
The Missing is back, small, compact and can be operated manually, that mattered to me. The initial aperture of 1.4 is anyway a big hit because the EX2F you can start taking pictures when the others stop. And if you want, then you can as with other compact cameras also just press the shutter button and the images are what. But this is like casting pearls before swine, because this gem can be more. Manual only reveals the full power of optics. Surely only 3x zoom is not what you know of other compact cameras. Something certainly lean, but this is more than offset by the fantastic light intensity. Twilight, even the night, then only shines the EX2F really. And that without flash, although a built course. The light of a street lamp is sufficient, with no tripod. Almost a night vision device with fold-out display ...
The online gimmicks I have not tried. Disturbing is the right cursor key that triggers this, even if you do not want it. Even more disturbing, the non-defeatable notes when you switch to camera mode. 'Off help texts' are in the setup, but unfortunately you get nevertheless indicated what one already knows. But that's whining on a high, very high level.
My conclusion is very positive, especially when considering the price. In CanoNikon a similarly bright fixed focal length is already costing considerably more. The Samsung EX2F is my tip for DSLR photographers, because especially in the evening and low light can contact the Samsung the rummage in camera backpack for the right lens to spare. And if a full format has come out Studio quality, no one notices that 'only' a compact camera has made such class pictures in low light. The EX2F is the 'available light' digicam ever!
If you can live in the operation with the small imperfections and also knows what ISO, aperture and make time, then the Samsung EX2F is just right for those who have it photographed again and does not depend on the equipment.
