Just useless ....

I've tried two copies of this repeater, both with the latest firmware 3:36 and (separately) connected to a Fritz box 7490. As handsets (cordless phones) Siemens Gigaset S810 served (a friend, however, has identical experience with a Fritz! Fon, another with must make other Siemens phones).

Were described some time ago bad problems with noise and dropped calls, once this repeater was logged at the Fritz box and integrated. Then AVM wanted rework with a firmware, and there are reports that as of 3:32 eased the problems.

To put it bluntly, the noise have subsided with the latest firmware 03:36 NOT! Although they may become a little quieter when making calls on their own side, but the opposite, the interlocutors still fall from the ears at the Geknackse! This thing is to call an impertinence! Have for years a Gigaset DECT router to an older Fritzbox had, without any problems and noise, completely clean sound on both sides. What AVM delivers here is a disaster, sorry for this strong language.

Completely independent of the location in the house, the distance to the FB, on the installation ... the AVM DECT100 still makes every conversation to hell! Ever-present noise, constant crackling, as long as you (in the room or outside) moves, but less so when one sits quietly, but even then! Absolutely clean again when the repeater was removed.
