The installation of the graphics card went quite fast. Old out and the new pure. It only needs a single 6 pin power connector and I could therefore directly connecting the previous map. The installation length is already beträchlich, however it is limited to the width of a Mainboard and therefore not many. Nice is also the power connector side, so will not get you to the drive cage. However, one should a little wider housing have if that space to the side wall is tight. But usually this should not be a problem and run smoothly in all standard housings.
Then fire up for PC and install the drivers. You can also directly download the drivers from the Nvidia website. Toll is also the automatic update function of the driver software so you're always up to date.
I then times some games alluded to see how high the details can be found and how hot / loud is the graphics card. I have had all the time the tool GPU-Z running in the background.
Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm, FarCry 3, Crysis 2 and Tom Raider I could play with high FPS with no problems at the highest or the second highest level.
At the end of the session I have determined the following maximum values per GPU-Z:
Max. Temperature 80 degrees (Tomb Raider)
Max. GPU core clock speed in MHz 1228 MHz (I was surprised that the graphics card is clocked by high boost so. I myself have made no changes.
Max. Fan speed in% 51 percent
I have, because I put a lot of value on the volume, closely belongs. And despite the 51% Lüfterdrehzal the graphics card was nevertheless pleasantly quiet and I heard only a faint noise. Am therefore very pleasantly surprised by this graphics card. It supplies at very high settings and high FPS is not loudly. I have the games played by the way all in 1080p (Full HD) resolution.
I would buy this card again. It offers a lot and has a great P / L ratio.
