The HD DVD: Paramount and Universal, the "big", continue to support the HD DVD, had in the past year, most box-office hits worldwide. Also one must not be confused with the in Europe, the situation in the US. Many titles are brought into Europe from other lenders than in the US market - and sales of HD DVD players in Europe are with 70% market share far ahead (without XBox sales). About 75% of all European independent Filmlables the HD DVD, support many of them exclusively. When I look at the choice of films on HD-DVD, I find many excellent current track & classic films, subjectively I feel the selection on HD-DVD quality than the rivals Blu-ray.
Value for money: Currently unbeatable. For less than 200 EUR I got an excellent high definition player and 7 HD-DVDs for free with this - the settlement was the way easily and within a week with me.
CONCLUSION: Buy! The so-called "format war" is far from decided, and I personally believe that it -. Similar to DVD - will be / + R at the end of both systems and the player will support both (see LG). The technique and the price-performance ratio is excellent at HD 30 and the available titles on HD DVD.
