I then finally decided to use the Philips 42PFL4007K / 12. The customer recessions go here apart partly strong, which is why I have struggled through me sometimes to make a recession into a product.
Picture:
The image is with the right attitude (film-option) at HD channels just brilliant and you get the feeling, side by side with Spiderman to fly through the air. The picture with SD channels is more than fine and significantly better than in most other TVs I've seen so far. Watching football with Sky HD, HD and ZDF HD Ard is really a treat! When SD is the picture OK, but could be better, in fact.

Sound:
Unlike virtually all flat-panel TVs, which I so far "do" had me, this TV really has a very good sound. On my Samsung TV's that sound very dull and have therefore bought an external sound system. This Philips the sound is really strong and sound effects can be enjoyed without the home theater system.

Games:
I've been running on TV my XBOX 360 via HDTV (adapter for the image is, Audio In must be bought) and the picture is simply head and shoulders above without HDTV. Now I finally know why always praise all the good graphics of the XBOX 360. So makes gaming fun Supersize! (To connect via Scart cable, an adapter is included)
But FIFA13 (via HDMI cable from the PC) is razor sharp. The problem with the double ball I can not quite confirm so. The problem can be seen with me only in the repetition, while the normal game not seen that. So no purchase obstacle for me!

SmartTV:
Thanks to Amazon action there was the wireless adapter from Belkin for free to TV. He was also configured very quickly and works perfectly. Personally, I do not need that SmartTV necessarily, but basically that's a brilliant thing, especially if you used MAXDOME. For sample 4 blockbuster can be watched over max cathedrals and this is actually a brilliant thing. Class image quality and watch movies when you just want to. Definitely the SmartTV is a cool extra but not must-have.

Play videos via USB:
Just as I had imagined! Simply connect an external hard drive with my films (various formats) and "Browse USB content" in the home menu on left and immediately I could and play movies smoothly in the usual quality.

Menu:
The menu could be quite a bit faster, but is not really slow. Whoever finds the remote control a bit cumbersome, can replace it with the "MyRemote" app from Philips and replace its remote control through the iPad, iPhone or Android phone. This works really great and makes an especially entering keywords.

Conclusion:
By and large, the TV only a few minor weaknesses, but all the major strengths. The value for money is really quite strong and can not be surpassed almost. Who is looking for an affordable all-purpose weapon that is right here.
