First, it worked with the print but not really. Printer is connected to the print server to the router (W700V of Telekom). The CD contained the print server contained software that easily by Autostart (program starts when you insert the CD) Install left. Then double-click on the installed program on the desktop and the printer was found directly and could be added to existing printers.
I could not print anyway (although everything seemed to be ready) and found the problem not for one day. The solution: (Enter the IP address in the browser address bar; with me 192.168.2.1) in the Speed port configuration and assign via the port rules the printer a fixed IP. All connected devices are displayed (ie both computers and a printer. With me was the IP 192.168.2.103). When I entered this IP in the address bar, directly came a small menu of the print server. So IP set ("Apply" button in the router config pressed) and this IP also assign the printer itself (so that Windows also knows). Ie: Control Panel, Devices and Printers and right-click the appropriate printer. Then click "Printer Properties" and select the tab "Connections". "Configure" click the button and enter the IP address in the "Printer Name or IP Address", which was set at the router. Click Apply or OK and you're done witchcraft.
Since I am not incredibly versed with PC and the stuff, my problem-solving for expert can listen a bit bumpy. One or two wirds might be a little help.
PS:
While my printer is not on the compatibility list (included in the instruction manual of the product) everything works perfectly.
