Top performance, operation partially fiddly

I had ordered the first 414 ONKYO, unfortunately had to go back because the speakers have to be supplied in my kitchen with sound. For an additional amplifier would be 414 required, which leads to space problems in my sideboard. The Onkyo 515 has for Zone2 (= kitchen) has its own amplifier, but seemed a bit too expensive. So the TEAC, technically identical to 515, almost 100 cheaper.
PLUS: Delivery of deltatecc exemplary. Design of the device easy, simple connections. In HDMI age only half the cables are installed from earlier in the machine felt.
PLUS: In the first configuration, you can skip individual points and catch up later. The menus are shown exemplary on the connected monitor, and that too in German.
PLUS: The loop-through image from digital sources (HUMAX sky HD3, SAMSUNG Bluray) without loss of quality, 3D works of course.
MINUS: The sound from the existing boxes (small 5 Series system from Magnat to protect the neighbors without a subwoofer) initially disappointing, almost one misses the old plant (ONKYO TX-SV 545 with downstream equalizer).
PLUS: Then using the supplied setup microphone started the Audyssey speaker calibration when TEAC. The result: super, great, world class !!! The small Magnat system conjures up without a top sound equalizer.
MINUS: The control via remote control. Most multiple keystrokes for use are needed, partly built illogical.
PLUS: you can for iPhones and Android app a download (the Onkyo will also work) and then control the TEAC via WiFi. Who has tried this once, is shaken, how complicated the TEAC FB's and fascinated by how easy it is to control network applications. Music lists of own stores, Web radio, Spotify, etc. simple and self-explanatory about the app. The music that is stored on the smartphone can not be played back. But it also works up / down, kitchen on / off, source selection for each zone, controlling the various play modes for Dolby and music etc.
PLUS: Oh, and the kitchen recorded the TEAC also, for example, with the radio while you can watch TV in the living room and to hear the Dolby sound.
Finally, a wish: it lacks the appropriate code for the sky-FB to thereby change the volume on the TEAC can. With Dolby Digital can change the volume only on the last device.
CONCLUSION: The TEAC looks good, makes great sound and picture and the app makes it even fun to control him.
