Navigation:
Navigating with the unit already makes mood. I use either a free topographic map which is based on the Open Street Map or the (expensive) Garmin City Navigator map. The OSM cards are currently not routable but provide much more detail than Garmin. With the Garmin map can be guided from A to B (eg by car). The works so far without limitation, but the navi provides no voice guidance. For departures, etc., the device beeps and displays a time quite clear graphic, WOS's at. Cycling to the way the OSM map is sufficient. The routes can be downloaded from various sites and GPS follows then a prefabricated track ..
Summary:
I would definitely buy the unit back to me. However, I would not take the Vista but the Legend. The compass in Vista works perfectly but only when the device is held horizontally. Once you calculated moves the device anyway the right of movement and displays them. The level measurement using air pressure is indeed much more accurate than the GPS altimeter (it shows when you pick up the unit times from the floor (!!!)) but you have to tour before each calibrate the height, otherwise they are often not true. In addition, the altitude measurement on the air pressure can not be switched off, when the weather changes, the GPS measurement would be much more accurate.
Overall, the unit gets 5 stars because it has more than fulfilled its purpose and is very good value for money.
