I looked around a long time ago already for alternatives to the usual whey protein powders, because personally the artificial taste of these products has only disgusted me.
After several test purchases I'm stuck ultimately with the Hemp Protein of Erdschwalbe.
The taste of such vegetable protein is initially described as used to, this places but after a few drinks. There are indeed some reviewers who describe the taste as intolerable. Okay, about taste, it can be known, always arguing, however, the choice of words "unbearable" simply nonsense. There are much worse.
The solubility of the powder should be evaluated for natural conditions as "good". The small remnants put at the bottom of the shaker, is unavoidable in such a product.
I do take the whole thing usually resolved with two (slightly) heaping tablespoons in 300 ml milk. So my tastes the best, milky nutty.
It remains to say that a hardcore bodybuilders such a protein possibly disliked, because the protein content compared to whey products is lower. But I am convinced that we in any way such protein additions as they recommend industry and glossy magazines need "mere mortals" recreational and amateur athletes. This benefits only the corporate CEOs and their shareholders.
