I now enthusiastically this adapter 2 weeks in use and am.
The delivery was as always super fast. Unwrapped, connected, Windows driver has automatically detected and downloaded: work!
Set up only the alignment and arrangement, and off you go!
I have the adapters in the following environment at work:
Windows 7 Professional x64
Dell Vostro 3550
Samsung Syncmaster MD230X3 @ 1920x1080 FullHD resolution
Totaly I have now connected 5 Monitors:
1x VGA Onboard
1x HDMI onboard (AmazonBasics DVI -> HDMI cable)
3x I-TEC USB 2.0 VGA Display Adapter
The adapters are connected to a USB hub with an external power source (Item No. B0028RYQ2G.) - Hereby also no problems.
Overall, I now this week 3 adapter in use - and monitor in Multi-Multi operation can not notice any problems. One notices under full load (4 different films, one on each monitor) slight delays on the monitors connected via an adapter, but this is absolutely okay. One should not forget here that the monitor via USB is connected.
All in all an absolute buy recommendation - because with this adapter the connection of 6 additional monitors is possible, what else creates only with a graphics card such as the ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6, this adapter is absolutely worth the money. The use of expensive dock hereby unnecessary: A simple USB hub is sufficient to connect monitors, mice, keyboards, printers and other peripherals.
