I have the "old" iPad now for 2 weeks in continuous use and therefore think that I can sometimes venture on a review. All in all I am very excited about the iPad. I use it mainly for surfing, emailing, view images and play a bit. Less it is from me for music (too cumbersome) or used for movies. Surfing using Safari works great and "feels" really super to - everything works as "smeared", the sides go in quickly, and by the well-known gesture you can zoom and navigate quickly - just wonderful. That the iOS does not support Flash, I knew before (amazing at how much the reviews will repeatedly criticized! If I want to have Flash, I may just buy a iPad!), I think it really does not bother, because many pages obviously can display videos without Flash and YouTube's running as a separate app. Write the email works for me now quite fast if you have to first get used to the keyboard - for a 10-finger system reaches's not, but with a little practice, I have a "5-7 Finger-System" is living, it then does. Here I come straight to the point "Using the iPad": it should by now be aware that the iPad is it not necessarily designed. I jokingly added myself times "Numbers" (= Excel) for iPad's. Again, with a little practice quite quickly create tables possible (Excel tables can be imported along with the formulas contained), but in good working order is then probably rather tedious. But as I said - there is probably not created - the iPad is (and will probably not be) no notebook replacement, should one just be clear, if one wants to buy a! One star deduction's from me because of the Photo App: see the images on the screen great, it's really fun to consider them on the iPad. Too bad I find, however, that it is not possible, with a Connection Kid better manage imported photos (storage in new "folders"; renaming the images / folder). But maybe that still comes even once with an iOS update, would be nice! And yes - here I accuse myself yourself: would you previously may already know through internet searches (I would have still bought a's). Otherwise strong buy recommendation from me - who do not necessarily need a camera for FaceTime, makes the "straight-A iPad" currently still a - well - bargain.
