I'll spare myself here a full review. I have the equipment now in use for a few days and can only say that when everything works fine. Me have the many negative reviews deterred once, but then it slammed shut as the Onkyo 515 exactly the features included that I need: Upscaling of Component (yes it works. You just have to read and follow the instructions. Ask 480i on.), 2 HDMI outputs for TV and projector etc. What I do not need and have therefore not tested the HDMI passthrough. Whether the problems still exist so I can not confirm. The device itself worked perfectly, although here the manual is written (PDF only) a little confusing. Firmware Update has also worked without problems, however, took about 1 hour. All in all, I can therefore recommend the device.

Test even after a month, I am still very excited about the receiver. There was in the meantime even a firmware update. Had until now not a problem etc. My neighbors have a lot of fun with the device. Can only recommend the receiver so still.
