Looking for an infrared extension, which can transmit the signal of my remote control over large distances possible wired, I came across the IRV-200, you can still mathematically 3.2m bridge (1.2 m cable from the receiver for box + 2 m from the box to the transmitter). Fortunately, use this device to standard cable connections and so I was able to connect the receiver -> box by means of a conventional 3.5-jack extension from the supermarket to extend by 5 m. Otherwise, this system does exactly what it should: It directs the infrared signals reliably - with me - in the next room lying.
