I would buy it again and maybe I do that already because I want to saw out the aperture plate on the back. Because the aperture 8 also does not really and Vignettierng on a full frame camera is extreme. While I get on an overcast day like today with a 50mm f8 1 / 100s, exposed the darker Holgalens with 1/4 good 4 aperture, corresponds approximately f32 (the picture is in the middle then a little lighter than in the comparison image). This is due to the small pinhole behind which is surrounded by a ring of smaller holes.
On an APS-C camera, the lens also delivers beautiful results without conversion, as the quality will be after the procedure, I do not know. Sharper it will not anyway, but definitely lighter.
Conclusion: 5 stars because of the fun the price is in a very good Verhätnis.
