The Transformer is well built, metal all around, with good power switch and connectors. One clear negative element Is that it's giving a quite loud humming while operating. I have another transformer (just check out my other reviews), from another brand Which is almost completely Call Silent When operating. So I would not recommend this Transformer for use in your living room - if it's built into a cabinet, or in places where the strong humming does not matter, it will do it's job.
