The Full-HD quality is very compelling and delivers excellent pictures (default setting is still set at a lower resolution and must be adapted to full HD). In operation, the camera will be lukewarm.
The supplied CD and installing / setting the camera was with the supplied software TrendNet me not (tested with Win7 and WIN8.2). The camera could not be found, although present in the network with IP address!
The camera is preset with DHCP, your IP address was assigned by my router automatically. Then the assigned IP address could be read and accessed directly via the router. The user name and the password (!) Are both "admin" (this I had repeatedly ignored and therefore not initially came up with the camera. Is there somewhere quite unimpressive in the manual).
The twisted upon delivery date format, the camera name and the font size in the transferred image can be customized or can be partly or completely hidden.
The supplied software I had not used since not so convincing.
Commissioning therefore with third-party software: Connecting to my Synology NAS using the software "Surveillance Station" is already there without problems was possible because the camera type in the SW was listed. Only had the camera are selected from the list. All necessary parameters, including user name and password were automatically preset. Commissioning with the software "Surveillance Station" can hammer out any absolute camera layman.
The apps for my iPhone TRENDnet, and Synology functioned both good.
The camera seems to me for the price and the high quality of workmanship to be a blast. Long-term experiences are not in front of me, but I will, if necessary, replacement delivery later ...
