I think on the positive characteristics of LG55UB850V has already said enough.
The TV has a class picture in SD, HD and 3D. The sound is also awesome for such a flat TV and to other models also very clear and understandable.
Criticism:
* WebOS: Why? Why LG throws as a banana product on the market in front of the customer. WebOs acting immature and partially ill-conceived. However Hauptkrikitpunkt the unit and reason for returning was the menu structure in WebOS. Since we most films about the local Synology NAS on the network stream in our budget directly to the TV or connect an external hard drive with music and tv shows directly to the TV, this function was of utmost importance. However, under the WebOS external sources of network and via USB no longer have the source function are displayed but cumbersome and confusing about smart Share, which can be reached only via the little thoughtful WebOS interface.
Conclusion:
A very nice and high quality TV with integrated software that bananas will probably mature only after months the customer and unfortunately absolutely immature for network integration. Even the otherwise friendly LG Customer Service came here to the limits of their knowledge. Confusing and ill-considered statements of the employees gave rise to more and more resentment and ultimately helped me in deciding against this TV.
