I ordered two android boxes to test during Christmas and I kept the Rikomagic with me due to the test results. Tested devices: Minix neo x 9h plus and Rikomagic.
Pros: very fast booting - faster than you choose the input signal.
Very simple scaled down version android KitKat and does the purpose.
Streaming through YouTube and many other online portals were smooth and did not pause to buffer.
XBMC inbuilt is a very powerful entertainment area.
Silent and no annoying lights in front.

Cons: though there are four holes at the base to place a rubber bush, It was not present for my box. Due to this, the air circulation and less what i noticed the device getting hot in prolonged use. I fixed it by making the rubber bush my own.
For a premium price, I expected to AirPlay remote as provided in Minix.
No Dolby as in Minix. An external receiver wants to help.
Operation without a wireless keyboard (Needs to be bought separately) is very clumsy.

Overall I am very happy with the product and will recommend Rikomagic. No gimmicks - only productivity.
