In principle, therefore the producer country sympathetic to, the present wine package but could neither me nor persuade my wife: both the Château Amandiers, and the Esprit de Sarrail rouge came taste very flat over - these are wines for which you already know after the first sip that they will be helpful at best, in the preparation of the next Sunday roast - but are not suited as a companion to a lovely evening with friends or to eat.
Perhaps it is because the "grape mash" (in all three varieties is Cuvees!) In the mentioned wines from three grape varieties is (in relation the 50/40/10 and 40/40/20 at Amandiers Esprit) - anyway we liked the Ventoux with its almost "unmixed" ratio (80% Grenache / Syrah 20%) clearly the best - but not so much that I want to offer someone would make him absolutely.
So bottom line, go only two of six bottles halfway through - that's me for the price then too little!
