When you first listen I was super disappointed. That did not sound after SNOOP. whose albums I've bought blind since DOGGYSTYLE .Irgendwie everything here is (seemingly) quite different - no fat DR DRE Beats - not aggressive, explosive Rhymes - in short - somehow become toothless, the Top Dogg. But with each new passage I like more of the album, and over time was "PAID THE COST TO BE THE BOSS" at all for most listened to CD - you can listen well because kan all the pieces of the flow agrees with the many guests and super Producern as PREMO, Hi-Tek, Battlecat or jellyroll, this album a lot of variety - especially I like the love to the radio and the musical heritage of the golden era of black music, which makes audible SNOOP here - especially the faboulous dramatics shine on "BALLIN" - "SPOTLIGHT" anyway "only" an update of the "Flashlight" from Parliament and "PAPER`D UP" processed equal to 2 Old School Evergreens - - "Paid in Full" and "Do not look any further" - But not only the nostalgic Part convinced; also inspire the EAST-WEST collaborations with Jay-Z on "Lollipop" + "FROM LONG BEACH 2 Brick City" with REDMAN - Just great I find also still "Hourglass"; "I MISS THAT B * TC" and especially "BATMAN" - produced by DJ Premier with the guests who made so exceptional even DOGGY STYLE - The Lady Of Rage & RBX ..
