UK-Psychedelic Pop & Rock ... finds from the 60s ...

A note in advance: listeners who seek or expect a 'best of compilation' are wrong here.
Rather, the present, opulent 20-CD box presents innumerable, as far as possible unknown bands from the so innovative era of 'End-Sixties UK-psychedelic pop-rock'.
Most of the bands will be nobody know (myself included) ... just a few names can Kenner sogfort listen up: "The Pretty Things", "The Mind Bender", "Keith West & Tomorrow" or even "Soft Machine". And if they are not represented by their big hits.
This box set is a great journey of discovery: strange, obscure, bizarre and especially Rares ... so it all started!
And now my conclusion: A legendary and at the same time fascinating CD series as a complete package. 5 stars are for me duty = Like very much!

My conclusion: As already mentioned - this opulent 20-CD box set is not a classic "Best Of Collection" !!
For treasure hunters in the area of ​​psychedelic pop / rock this set, however, is a never-ending treasure chest ... over 300 songs waiting to be discovered. From my perspective, the highest recommendation level = 5 stars = I like it a lot!
