The kettle has a (description again read carefully) "on" switch.
This is actually only for turning, off is not.
Off goes only through the automatic "stop cooking" or just by pulling the plug.
This is not only in the manual, it is also a fat red list, which tells you that the switch is only possible to turn on and the device is therefore switched on after unpacking and probably equal gets going. Probably there have been problems here. Nevertheless, one has not changed.
Sure, the kettle has a fixed cable and I never think anyway a device that plugged into an outlet under the tap.
Still, it could happen that someone fills water, the device insertion - but do not want to cook - and leaves.
Even if the boil stop works always beautifully composed, for example the risk of scalding, because you may not be credited with hot water.
Another problem: If you only want hot water, but not boiling, the only possibility is to pull the plug.
The cable is not long (75cm) and some socket something goes taut, again a risk of injury.
I would rather do without the Plastebecher- and Döschenkram besides spoon and purse and had a useful switch.
Considering Hab long if I keep the equipment and ultimately chose me more lazy for that.
